Let's upcycle our empty cans !
Today we are going to make a pencil holder out of one of them in less than 10 minutes.
Protect the work surface. Shake the can of gesso and spray on a piece of scrap paper to eliminate residue. Then spray it on the can. Cover uniformly.
While the gesso is drying, cut the paper, using the dimensions of the can as reference.
Make sure to remove all of the extra napkin layers, keeping only the layer with the pattern on it.
Spray the permanent adhesive on a piece of scrap paper. Then spray it onto the back of the napkin.
Stick it on the can. Using a soft dry cloth press down gently on the napkin to make sure that the glue adheres correctly and leaves no air bubbles.
Stick the ribbon or lace to the can following the same instructions as above.
All done !
