Material

  • 35 x 80 cm of printed fabric for the top of the bag (Fabric 1)
  • 35 x 80 cm of printed fabric for the inside of the bag
  • 33 x 78 cm special manic fleece
  • 1 m 50 of 4 cm wide unbleached strap
  • 1 m 50 of coarse orange grain 2 cm wide
  • 30 cm orange bias
  • 3 orange buttons of about 2 cm in diameter
  • Matching wire
  • Odif Odicoat
  • Odif 909 Permanent Adhesive
  • Flat glue brush
  • Sewing scissors
  • Sewing pliers
  • Baking paper
  • Iron 

Step 1

  • Coat the fabric number 1 with a layer of Odif Odicoat using a card. 
  • Smooth the surface with the flat brush.
  • Let dry for about 20 min.
  • Repeat 2 times to obtain 3 coats. 

Tip
Protect the work surface with several layers of stretchable film that can be discarded after use.

 Repeat step 1 with the fabric number 2.

  • Iron the entire surface of printed fabrics by protecting the sole of the iron with parchment paper to secure the Odif Odicoat.

  • Assemble the fabric rectangles, right side together, on 3 sides, leaving one end open.

  •  Glue the fleece with the Odif 909 Permanant Adhesive on the back of the fabric number 1.

 Return the project to the place.

  • Cut 3 pieces of 10 cm orange bias, glue them folded in length.

  • Close the opening with the machine by taking the bias pieces out of the seam.

  • Fold the rectangle of the bag in 3, overlapping the ends by about 5 cm.
  • Cut the strap and the grosgrain in 2.
  • Overlap the grosgrain on the strap and sew them together.
  • Sew the sides of the bag up to 10 cm from the middle, taking the ends of the straps between the layers.

  • Sew buttons in front of buttonholes.

Variant
Use 2 fabric rectangles of 35 x 70 cm, 33 x 68 cm of fleece and 60 cm of webbing and grosgrain.
In step 4, place the straps for the handles at the ends of the rectangles between the 2 layers of fabric.

Tip
To make sewing easier, place a strip of baking parchment straddling the opening.
The parchment paper will prevent the odor tissue from puckering at the seam.

Caution
Do not put an unwrapped pie or cake directly into the bag.
