Halloween is not really Halloween unless there is a Jack O’Lantern on your doorstep! But carving the pumpkin is a perilous step, so this year we will play it safe and show you a simple way to decorate it without carving it.
Protect the work surface, clean the pumpkin and dry it. Shake the White Gesso Spray aerosol and spray gesso on the pumpkin from a distance of 10" (25cm) away. Let dry for 40 minutes.
Tip : To easily cut fabric, spray 505 on the front of your fabric, from a distance of 10" (25 cm) away, then adhere the fabric to a sheet of scrap paper. This will make the cutting process much easier for you.
Cut the fabric :
- Two ovals for the eyes
- A 6" (15cm) strip of black fabric
- 5 smaller strips for the mouth stitches
Spray 303 permanent adhesive on the back of the strips of fabric, from a distance of 8" (20 cm) away. Then adhere the strips to the pumpkin, and remove the paper backing.
To make your pumpkin scarier, stick 2 wiggly eyes with super glue.
