DIY - Christmas balls in buttons

Create an original Christmas decoration, by getting the buttons from your drawers

Material
1 polystyrene ball (diameter 12 cm)
15 cm red fabric
Red and patterned buttons made of wood and plastic of different diameters
Ribbon for the fastener
Odif Odicoat
Scissors
Syringe
Glue brush
Step 1
Using the template (pdf attached), draw 6 petals on the red fabric and cut them.
Stick them on the polystyrene ball coated with the Odif Odicoat.
Smooth the surface with a flat brush and the Odif Odicoat.
Let dry for about 2 hours.
Step 2
With a syringe, place a large drop of Odif Odicoat on the ball and stick a button.
Cover the entire surface of the ball by superimposing some buttons inspired by the photo.
Let dry for 24 hours.
Step 3
Cut a piece of tape about 24 cm long and tie the ends to form a loop.
Drill a hole in the ball with the tip of the scissors and put Odif Odicoat in that hole with the syringe.
Step 4
Slide the ribbon knot into the hole and push it to the bottom with the scissors tip.
Let dry before hanging.
